Venue
The workshop will take place in the ECAP laboratory building located at Nikolaus-Fiebiger-Straße 2. The entrance is located in the south of the building. The seminar room, where the talks will take place, is inside the building, directly on the opposite of the entrance.
The lunch will be in the "Südmensa" (university canteen), which is a 10 minutes walk away from the workshop venue. The route can be found HERE. The mensa is then located in the indicated building (Erwin-Rommel-Straße 60) on the first floor; on the ground floor is the cafeteria. The meal plan can be found here.

How to get to the workshop venue
The closest stops are the bus stations "Staudtstraße" (~1 minute walk) and "Sebaldussiedlung" (~5 minutes walk). From the Station and city center, the trip takes, depending on the connection, between 20 and 30 minutes. As there are several different busses that run between the hotels and the workshop venue, you can look for a suitable connection on https://www.vgn.de/en/. You can enter your hotel "Creativhotel Luise, Erlangen" for Hotel Luise) as departure point and "Nikolaus-Fiebiger-Straße 2, Erlangen" for the workshop venue. Then the website shows different connections, also including short walks to one of the closest bus stops. When picking one connection, you can click on the map symbol to see the exact route.
To walk the entire distance takes ~45 minutes (city) and ~25 minutes (Hotel Luise).
Busses run in Erlangen roughly until 11:30pm, some also until midnight. However, the later it gets, the lower the frequency and you might also need to walk longer distances.
Good direct connections
For Hotel Luise: Walk to bus stop "Erlangen Anton-Bruckner-Str." (~4min), then take bus 287 to "Sebaldussiedlung" (11min).
Line 287 runs every 30 minutes and the last departure from "Sebaldussiedlung" is Mo-Fr at 11:47 pm.
Line 20 runs between one and three times per hour and the last departure from "Staudtstraße" is Mo-Fr at 10:04 pm.
Line 293 runs every 30 minutes and less frequently in the evening. The last departure from "Sebaldussiedlung" is Mo-Fr at 11:46pm, one last bus runs at 0:46am to "Hugenottenplatz" which is a 10min walk away from the AB Hotel.
Where to get the tickets
You can buy the bus ticket directly online at https://www.vgn.de/en/ (or in the corresponding app "VGN Fahrplan & Tickets" or in the app of the german railway "DB Navigator") and download it as mobile ticket to show on your phone, or you can buy it from the bus driver (in cash, probably not possible in line 20). You need a ticket of Price level C (=Erlangen) which costs 2.57 € (online) or 3 € (bus driver).
