Description
In this talk I will review some known results on quantization of relational quantum gravity observables in the perturbative algebraic quantum field theory framework and link them with the modern idea of quantum reference frames. I will also present a simpler toy model of relativized observables in electromagnetism in the presence of boundaries. The latter is based on my recent paper with Fewster and Janssen.
