Submission deadline
The seminar series is designed to be introductory and accessible in nature. Speakers are encouraged to begin with a broad introduction to the topic at a level suitable for Master’s students and researchers from neighboring fields. Following this introduction, the speaker should provide an overview of the current state of research and present selected aspects of their own work or perspectives on the topic.
The presented topic does not necessarily have to coincide with your primary area of specialization. We also encourage submissions on topics that you are currently exploring or reading about and would like to discuss with a broader audience.
The format is intended to be informal, interactive, and pedagogical.
If we receive multiple submissions on closely related topics, we may invite speakers to jointly organize a session, potentially followed by a panel-style discussion. In such cases, we will contact the speakers individually.
We especially encourage speakers to engage critically with the topic they present, highlighting both the strengths and limitations of the approaches, methods, or ideas under discussion.
