With the advancements of the HAP team in the last few years, it's time to spread the word about the main scripts and methods for generating the new configs and running analysis with them.
We invite you to Erlangen for the 2025 HAP Workshop, held by Rodrigo Guedes Lang, Tim Unbehaun, and Lars Mohrmann, in which we aim to:
1. Give a general overview of the HAP analysis, from calibration to reconstruction, to IRFs and up to high-level analysis.
2. Work on a hands-on coding sprint to teach you how to run the master script to generate new configs, how to run consistency checks for each step and how to end up with FITS files.
Please have a working HD cluster account and local installation of:
- hap ( https://gitlab.in2p3.fr/hess/software/hap-chain-master )
- hdconfiggeneration ( https://gitlab.in2p3.fr/hess/softwaremodules/hap/hapauxiliary/hdconfiggeneration )
You can find a tutorial on how to install these at: https://indico.ecap.work/event/178/sessions/301/attachments/654/1174/HAP_Workshop_Starting_Tutorial.pdf
