FRANCI 2026, Würzburg
The FRANCI Meeting takes place at Campus Hubland, Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg. The building and room is yet TBD.
How to get there:
- By public transport: From the Würzburg train station (Würzburg Hauptbahnhof), we recommend you take the Bus 14 ("Gerbrunn") and get off at the Campusbrücke stop. Alternatively, you may take Bus 214 ("THWS") or Bus 114 ("Universität Sportzentrum") and get off at the Philosophische Fakultät stop, which is 5 extra minutes of walking. All else failing, Bus 29 ("Campus Nord Hubland") will take you to the Hubland TGZ stop, but it is a longer bus ride.
- By car: Hubland is a large campus with ample parking space, but the location we recommend will be updated once the venue is determined.
Lunch:
For lunch, the current plan is to have lunch at the Mensa Campus Hubland Süd (payment by credit/debit card is not possible, only cash or a Würzburg student ID. However, people with Student Cards from other Bavarian universities should present it at the cash register to get a discount). This plan may change to snacks on-site based on availability and final schedule.
Dinner/evening program:
We will have a barbecue at the fields of Campus Hubland Nord, which have barbecue spots available, free of charge. Meat, vegetarian and vegan options will be available. Please mention your preference in the registration form as well as any other dietary requirements, although it is also possible to bring your own food.
