The FRANCI Meeting takes place at Stephanshof Bamberg.

How to get there:
- By public transport: From Bamberg train station, you can reach Stephanshof in about 30 minutes on foot. Alternatively, take a bus to the Schranne stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk.
- By car: If you requested parking during registration, you can park at the Dr. Karl Remeis-Observatory (Sternwartstraße 7, 96049 Bamberg)
Lunch:
For lunch, we’ll have some small snacks available (pretzels, etc.), but there are also many great options in the city to explore.
Dinner/evening program:
We will have a barbecue at Dr. Karl Remeis-Observatory for dinner, provided free of charge. A baseline of meat, vegetarian, and vegan options will be available. Please mention your preference in the registration form so we can plan accordingly. Feel free to bring along card games or games for physical exercise to make the evening enjoyable!
Afterward, weather permitting, there will be an opportunity to observe with the telescopes (10:30 PM - 12:00 AM). To assist with our planning, please confirm whether you will be attending (meaning, if you say you will be there we expect you to be there ;) ). Hotel accommodations or late returns should be arranged independently.
