The FRANCI Meeting takes place at Stephanshof Bamberg.

How to get there:
- By public transport: From Bamberg train station, you can reach Stephanshof in about 30 minutes on foot. Alternatively, take a bus to the Schranne stop, which is the closest to Stephanshof. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk.
- By car: We have limited parking available at the Dr. Karl Remeis-Observatory. Please let us know in the registration if you need a space (first-come, first-served). Alternatively, the nearest car park is "Geyerswörth City-Altstadt Tiefgarage" (Geyerswörthstraße 5A, 96047 Bamberg). From there, it's about a 10-minute walk.
Lunch:
For lunch, we’ll have some small snacks available (pretzels, etc.), but there are also many great options in the city to explore.
Dinner/evening program:
We will have a barbecue at Dr. Karl Remeis-Observatory for dinner, provided free of charge. A baseline of meat, vegetarian, and vegan options will be available. Please mention your preference in the registration form so we can plan accordingly. Feel free to bring along card games or games for physical exercise to make the evening enjoyable!
Afterward, weather permitting, there will be an opportunity to observe with the telescopes (10:00 PM - 12:00 AM). Please let us know in the registration if you would like to participate. Hotel accommodations or late returns should be arranged independently.
