DESCRIPTION:\nThe workshop "FAU²: Quantum Gravity Meets Quantum Informati
on – Foundations\, Frameworks and Frontiers” focuses on the rapidly de
veloping interface between quantum gravity\, quantum foundations\, and qua
ntum information theory. Recent advances have shown that concepts such as
quantum reference frames\, entanglement and geometry\, quantum thermodynam
ics in gravitational settings\, measurement and observers in diffeomorphis
m-invariant systems\, black hole information\, and open quantum systems of
fer new insights into the structure of spacetime and the formulation of gr
avitational dynamics. At the same time\, gravitational physics poses profo
und foundational challenges to quantum theory\, particularly regarding tim
e\, subsystems\, and the role of information.\nThe workshop brings togethe
r researchers from these areas to exchange perspectives\, establish a shar
ed conceptual framework\, and discuss both foundational and technical deve
lopments. Topics will include quantum gravity theories and relation with i
 nformation and philosophy\, holography\, relational approaches\, decoheren
ce\, quantum clocks\, and information-theoretic aspects of emergent geomet
ry. By promoting focused interdisciplinary dialogue and identifying common
research directions\, the meeting aims to clarify open questions and init
iate new collaborations.\nConfirmed invited speakers include:\n\nMehdi Ass
